David Sandberg, DPM, was drawn to podiatry because it offered the perfect balance between hands-on patient care and improving quality of life. Whether through non-invasive treatments or surgical procedures, he takes pride in helping patients stay active and pain-free. Dr. Sandberg specializes in Lapiplasty bunion surgery, endoscopic plantar fasciotomy (EPF) for heel pain, and hammer toe repair. He and his wife, Dr. Heather Sandberg, have been practicing podiatry in Knoxville for nearly three decades.
Dr. Sandberg is a West Knoxville native, who enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, who are all active in academics and athletics. When he’s not on the sidelines cheering them on, he enjoys golfing, cooking, and exploring great food and wine.
